The Penn Memory Center is pleased to welcome new neuropsychology trainees to the team for the 2016-2017 academic year. Shalom Shapiro, Emma Rhodes, Kayci Vickers, and Kara Rudisill started with PMC in July and will be training with Dr. Dawn Mechanic-Hamilton this year in neuropsychological assessment and intervention.
Shapiro is an intern from Widener University, Rhodes is a practicum student from Temple University, Vickers is a practicum student from Drexel University, and Rudisill is a practicum student from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine.
Last month, PMC said goodbye to the 2015-2016 class of trainees.
“Megan Glenn, Kate Devlin, Kathy Breslin, and Amanda NeMoyer dedicated a tremendous amount of time and effort to their work, providing testing services, co-facilitating the Cognitive Fitness Program, and collaborating on research projects,” Mechanic-Hamilton said. “They are all moving on to excellent practicum and internship training sites.”
Glenn and Devlin will continue their training at Temple University Hospital, Breslin will move on to Lancaster General Hospital for her internship, and NeMoyer will complete her internship at Emory University.
“They were an integral part of the clinical team at the PMC and we wish them the best,” Mechanic-Hamilton said.
