Please join the Penn Memory Center in taking a look through the lens at Philadelphia’s performance community at our next Memory Café.
Local photographer Kathryn Raines, of Plate 3 Studio, will be featured as this month’s featured guest at the PMC Memory Café Friday, June 2.
Raines, a 2009 graduate of The University of the Arts, is a commercial and lifestyle photographer whose photographs have been published in Philadelphia Magazine, The Inquirer, and The Philadelphia Tribune, as well as US Airways Magazine and Time Out New York. Her portraits capture the life of her subjects in a single unique frame, and her other work showcases her creative eye.
Raines will share her work with Café guests and take portraits of those who would like one.
June marks the conclusion of the first year of free, original programming at Memory Café, but stay tuned for new artists, musicians, and hobbyists in 2017 and beyond. Memory Café is held 10:30 a.m. to noon every month at Christ Church Neighborhood House, 20 N. American Street in Old City.
