Online Giving
Make a one-time gift or pledge payment, or extend your philanthropic commitment through a recurring gift or multi-year pledge. Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover are all acceptable forms of payment. Giving online saves time and decreases processing costs for the Penn Memory Center. Gift processing will take up to three business days, and may take longer during busy times of the fiscal year.

To make a gift via postal mail, please send a check to the address below. Checks should be made payable to the “Trustees of the University of Pennsylvania.” Please note the Penn Memory Center on the memo line.

Gifts in Memory or Honor

Donor Advised Funds or Private Foundation Gifts
Donors may recommend or direct gifts that count toward the Penn Memory Center through donor-advised funds or private foundations. To make a gift through a donor-advised fund, be sure to provide the University of Pennsylvania’s Tax ID/EIN. This important number is 23-1352685. Gifts also should be made payable to the Trustees of the University of Pennsylvania. Please note the gift will be directed to the Penn Memory Center Annual Event.

Named in honor of the late Christopher M. Clark, M.D., founding director of the Penn Memory Center, this fund provides financial support for scholars at the PMC, supporting the training of the next generation of Alzheimer’s disease researchers. Janet Caplan Endowed Fellowship Fund
Named in honor of the late Janet Caplan, this fund provides financial support to fellowship positions at the PMC, supporting training in the clinical case and research of patients with Alzheimer’s disease and the related dementias (ADRD). Give to the Janet Caplan Endowed Fellowship Fund here.
Making Sense of Alzheimer’s Gift Fund at the Penn Memory Center

Not sure which fund to donate to?
We suggest giving to the Penn Memory Center’s Annual Fund. This is the PMC’s general fund, and contributions to this fund will go towards the programs of the Center that need them most.
Securities Gifts
There may be tax advantages for individuals who donate gifts of stock to the Penn Memory Center, which should be reviewed with the requisite professionals. Donors interested in making gifts of stock also may directly reach out to colleagues who process these types of gifts by calling 215-898-7254 or emailing dofgiftsadm@pobox.upenn.edu. Bequests
A bequest can be as simple as including the following language in your will:
“I give, devise, and bequeath to The Trustees of the University of Pennsylvania, a nonprofit corporation located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, for the Penn Memory Center, the sum of $___________ (or ______% of the residue of my estate).”
Memorial Giving
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be directed to the Penn Memory Center. Donations can be sent to Penn Memory Center, 3535 Market Street, Suite 750, Philadelphia, PA 19104 with checks made payable to “Trustees of the University of Pennsylvania” and noting “in memory of [the deceased]”. You can also make a secure gift online by visiting www.PennMedicine.org/PMC, once again noting “in memory of [the deceased].”
