Every day at the Penn Memory Center, we hear caregivers describe the emotional, physical, and logistical challenges they face tending to their loved ones. We’re here to help. Through the Empowering Caregivers series, caregivers will have access to area experts who will present on a variety of intensive topics from symptom management to end-of-life care. The Curtis Institute partners with PMC to hold the program Creative Expressions Through Music and other events. PMC has 25 tickets to the premiere of MERCY that will be given out on a first come first serve basis. Masks and proof of vaccination are required. To reserve tickets, contact PMC Programs Coordinator Meg Kalafsky at megan.kalafsky@pennmedicine.upenn.edu or 267-624-4282. This event is happening Nov. 4 at 7 p.m. at the Philadelphia Film Center.

In 2020, Penn Memory Center began holding virtual caregiver forums in response to the uncertainty and tension caregivers faced during the COVID-19 pandemic. These forums are a place for caregivers with a loved one in facility care and caregivers with a loved one at home to connect and gather.
