Sheina Emrani is a postdoctoral fellow in the Frontotemporal Degeneration Center. She earned her PhD in Clinical Psychology from Rowan University with a concentration in Neuropsychology. Her current research focuses on neuroinflammation in Frontotemporal Dementia (FTD). As a Clark Scholar, she is investigating the relationship between neuroinflammation and cognition in FTD, beyond the primary proteinopathies associated with the disease, using digital neuropathology and ultra-high-resolution MRI that captures iron-rich inflammation.
