Charlotte Graafland is a visiting scholar at the Penn Memory Center. She is a PhD candidate in Medical Ethics from the Erasmus Medical Center in the Netherlands, working on ethics of predicting the onset of symptoms in genetic frontotemporal dementia. Her main interests include ethical issues surrounding new (biomedical) technologies, changes in disease concepts, and the value of health information.
