Alex Prusky is a clinical research coordinator working on the TRAILBLAZER-ALZ 2 study. Prusky graduated from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee with a bachelor of arts in neuroscience.
Prior to joining PMC, Prusky worked as an undergraduate researcher in the laboratory of Dr. Matthew Schrag at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, a lab that utilizes a combination of molecular biology and microscopy techniques to understand vascular degeneration in cerebral amyloid angiopathy and lysosome dysfunction in Alzheimer’s disease. His project involved using high-content analysis to quantify protein-protein interactions and lysosome fission dynamics in cell cultures. In the future, Prusky hopes to pursue medical school to become a neurologist.
