Get Involved in Training Programs
Aging Research Summer Internship: This internship is a 12-week paid summer program for Pennsylvania residents who identify as Black or African American who are in their undergraduate, graduate, or doctoral years. Interns receive hands-on experiences with faculty members specializing in a large array of research areas.
Post-Doctoral Fellowship Program: This is a two-year post-doctoral fellowship (PhD, MD, PhD-MD) in Alzheimer’s and Related Dementias (ADRD). Examples of areas of work include, but are not limited to, clinical trials, basic science, health services research, economics, genetics, biomarkers, social-psychology, proteomics, novel molecular imaging, bioinformatics, etc.
Penn Memory Center Fellowship Program: Fellows in this program are working to have careers as physician-scientists in ADRD clinical research. Fellows work in clinical research settings and focus on patient-based research and clinical trials.
Christopher M. Clark Scholars Program: This program is a unique opportunity for early career Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Dementias (ADRD) researchers to train at the Penn Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center. Scholars will receive financial support if needed and be paired with two mentors.
