Lauren Fisher is a Clark Scholar at the Penn Memory Center as well as a doctoral candidate in the School of Nursing at the University of Pennsylvania. Lauren holds bachelor’s degrees in nursing and behavioral neuroscience. Her research focuses on the emotional capacity of a person living with behavioral variant Frontotemporal Dementia and its impact on caregiver well-being. She is interested in the importance of emotional connection for maintaining relationships while living with dementia.
