Holly Elser is a Clinical Fellow in the Division of Cognitive Neurology. She earned her MD at Stanford University and her PhD in Epidemiology from the UC Berkeley School of Public Health. As an epidemiologist, her current research focuses on environmental drivers of neurological disease onset and progression. As a Clark Scholar, she plans to focus on the biological basis of the air pollution-dementia association, leveraging in-vivo biomarker data including plasma-based biomarkers and neuroimaging endpoints.
