Ella Rossetti joined the Penn Memory Center in 2026 as a clinical research coordinator on the clinical trials team. She graduated with honors from Lehigh University in 2025 with a Bachelor of Arts in economics and a Bachelor of Science in cognitive science with a concentration in neuroscience, along with minors in music and psychology. After graduating, Ella spent a year working on an NSF ART grant before joining the Penn Memory Center.
At Lehigh, Ella’s interdisciplinary studies fostered an interest in understanding human behavior from both biological and socio-economic perspectives. Outside the classroom, she served as a Technology, Research, and Communications Writing Fellow, played cello in the Lehigh University Philharmonic Orchestra, and co-founded the Lehigh Medical Brigades Club. Through the club, she helped lead a brigade to Guatemala that raised more than $30,000 to provide medical and dental care to a community with limited access to healthcare. During her junior year, Ella also spent 14 days in Taiwan conducting immersive field research, which later informed a published paper examining the country’s declining birth rate.
At the Penn Memory Center, Ella coordinates Phase III clinical trials and especially values the opportunity to connect with research participants. She hopes to attend medical school and ultimately become a neurologist.
