Sharon Ettinger is a clinical extern at the Penn Memory Center. Sharon completed her bachelor’s degree in psychology and studio art at Colgate University in 2018 and then worked as an applied behavior analysis instructor for children with autism spectrum and other developmental disorders in New York City. She completed her master’s degree in developmental psychology at Teachers College, Columbia University in 2022. Sharon is currently a fourth-year clinical psychology PhD student at Drexel University with a major area of study in health psychology. She is a member of the Geller Women’s Health Psychology Lab under the mentorship of Dr. Pamela A. Geller. Sharon’s research takes a family systems approach to promoting development across the lifespan for racial/ethnic minority families through maternal perinatal mental health, with a focus on early relational health. Last year, Sharon completed a clinical externship in pediatric neuropsychology at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
