Dr. Rogan Magee is a clinical fellow in the Memory Center at the University of Pennsylvania. He received his undergraduate degree from Saint Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota, where he studied Computer Science and Biology. Next, he joined the MD, PhD program at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. For his PhD research, he used computational and molecular biologic techniques to study non-coding RNA. He then completed neurology residency at the University of Pennsylvania, during which he was awarded an NIH UE5 grant focused on the progression of frontotemporal dementia. He is interested in continuing to leverage computational and molecular biologic techniques to improve RNA-based diagnostics and therapeutics for neurogenerative disease.
