Dr. Merlyn Abraham is a Penn Geriatrics Fellow from Chicago Medical School. Originally from Gerogia by way of Long Island, NY, Dr. Abraham landed in Philadelphia for her family medicine residency at Drexel University after graduating from medical school. She has served as a resident leader for an inner-city refugee clinic in Center City that has been full of incredible experiences. Dr. Abraham hopes her time at Penn will grow her skillset in to provide the best possible care for the elderly and grow in areas of advocacy and philanthropy to protect the aged vulnerable persons in our society. After her time at Penn she plans to work in a variety of settings to meet the diverse and complex needs of my geriatric patients.
