Melanie Kleid is a research coordinator on the Penn Program on Precision Medicine for the Brain (P3MB) team. After graduating from Swarthmore College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociolinguistics, she began working with P3MB on qualitative research studies with a focus on interviewing patients living with dementia and their caregivers. She has since been involved in research regarding patients and caregivers’ experiences with paradoxical lucidity, empathy loss in bvFTD, and medical decision-making about anti-amyloid therapy.
