Keisha April, JD is a neuropsychology practicum student at Penn Memory Center. She is a doctoral student at Drexel University studying clinical psychology, with a concentration in forensic psychology. Her research focuses on racial and ethnic disparities in the justice system, evaluating outcomes for justice-involved individuals, and devising policy interventions to reduce these disparities. Her training has included performing cognitive assessment and forensic evaluations with both youth and adults. Prior to joining PMC, Keisha earned her juris doctor degree from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law and her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Princeton University.
