John is a social work intern. He supports patients and their loved ones with their diagnosis through education, therapy, PMC programming, and support groups. McKain is in her final year of a master’s in social work program at Penn with a Social Work in Health Care Specialization Certificate (SWIHCS).
Before joining PMC, John graduated West Chester University majoring in Business Management and Psychology and later worked in sales and management prior to entering healthcare. Last year, John interned at Friends Hospital in Northeast Philadelphia and aided in treatment of all major psychiatric disorders and co-occurring substance issues.
