Dr. Erica Stagliano is a geriatric psychiatry fellow at the University of Pennsylvania. She recently completed residency at Jefferson Einstein Hospital, where she served as Chief Resident. She earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM), a Master of Science in Biomedical Sciences with a focus on Neurobehavioral Sciences from PCOM, and a Bachelor of Science in Biobehavioral Health from Penn State University.
Dr. Stagliano was named a 2024 American Association for Geriatric Psychiatry Scholar and is the 2025–2026 recipient of the AADPRT Ginsberg Fellowship for her work developing geriatric psychiatry curricula and teaching materials for trainees. Her dedication to curriculum development and teaching has earned her numerous honors, including the Provost Award in Neurobehavioral Sciences from PCOM, Institutional Teaching Honors from Thomas Jefferson University, and the Outstanding Resident Award. In addition to her commitment to medical education, her psychiatry interests include behavioral disturbances in dementia, post-stroke syndromes, and treatment-resistant chronic mental illness.
